what i'm doing now (should I delete this blog?)

I haven't written anything proper in awhile and I don't think I can do it unless I get these thoughts down first...

bali airport
I just arrived back from Bali yesterday and just like any other place I visit, I always come home with new lessons and insights.

But that's not entirely the reason why I haven't been writing as much.

The last quarter of 2015 has been emotionally crazy for me so I chose to make myself busy instead. I delved into interior design, tapped into my entrepreneurial skills (BEACH BORN) and traveled to 2 countries, and several provinces in 2 months. For a change, I also said yes to most event invites that came my way.

All that just to keep my mind off of things.

Little did I know that all ventures would be successful. Now I don't have any free time. Seriously.

But despite all that, my mind has been racing and I have been reconsidering things.

The one thing about going through a turmoil are priceless self-realizations that you cannot pick up from anything else.

It forced me to re-evaluate my life, my current situation and MY BLOG.

YES MY BLOG. It came to a point where I seriously considered deleting this blog. No more Fashion Eggplant.

I have grown so much since I started this some 5-6 years ago and I am not the same person anymore.

I didn't put much thought into it when I started. I just wanted an outlet to write write write but now I feel like this blog doesn't accurately represent who I am anymore.

I want you to know the real me. No smoke and mirrors. I want to inspire you the same way other people have inspired me through my travels. I want to share my stories with you and make you want to try new things, get out of your comfort zone.

I want you to know that anything is possible and I have been trying to do that by example but I don't think that this current blog's name, layout and identity is the proper avenue for that.

There's just too much going on here already.

Which is why I think it's time to branch out...maybe. Nothing is concrete but it's something that I am deeply considering.

And yes, in case you're thinking it, I'm still keeping Fashion Eggplant. It's still part of who I am and it will always be...(it's just that life is more than just fashion and retail you know what I mean?...)

I might just maybe start a couple more blogs or create a new website with this one as a wing under it.

We'll see what 2016 has in store for me, only time will tell.

But here's a hint...I seriously would like to give more time to develop my #NeverTooOld idea and cross several things off my bucket list as I do it.
