So what exactly is the Malaysian Tourism Hunt?

It's a program created by the Minister of Tourism and Culture YB Dato' Seri Mohmed Nazri Abdul Aziz to provide a new and exciting perspective of Malaysia as a tourist destination and also to promote Malaysia as self-drive holiday destination.

The fun run had 4 delegates from participating Asean countries driving around Malaysia in sponsored Proton cars to go on a "Treasure Hunt" where we had to take part in local cultural activities and challenges while visiting various tourist attractions.

(very much like the Amazing Race)

To further promote Malaysia, we were also required to upload several "wefies" and "selfies" at pre-designated locations for a photography contest.

There was a total of 10 participating countries with 4 representatives each from Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and of course, us, The Philippines.

I clocked in some 200km of driving on the left side of the road to get to Malacca from Kuala Lumpur.

Some of our stops included: The Palace of Justice at Putrajaya, the Muzium Tentera Darat at Port Dickson, The Grand Beach Resort, PD Ostrich Farm, Mini Malaysia and Jonker Street among several others.

Of all the places I've been to my favorite would have to be Malacca which is gorgeous at every angle.
