royal restore opens in sm north

Leading designer goods restoration specialist, Royal Restore just opened their newest branch at the 3rd floor of SM North Edsa.

"Read more" to check out which of my bags I had restored, what went down during the opening, branches and list of services available.

ROYAL RESTORE SM NORTH

Think of Royal Restore as a fairy grandmother for all your designer goods repair needs. They can pretty much do everything to restore and resurrect your beloved piece back to its former glory.

Aside from leather cleaning and conditioning, they can also treat color fading, remove mild scratches, removed transferred color, oil stains, ink marks etc.

Need a strap replacement? They can do that too and match the leather of the original.

ROYAL RESTORE SERVICES
As a special treat for all those who attended the store opening, we were asked to bring a couple of old bags to have cleaned/restored for free.

Here's a sample of an "after photo":

ROYAL RESTORE AFTER PHOTOS

The Chanel 2.55 was re-dyed in the same color while those pumps used to be banged up in nude and later transformed into an eye-catching lipstick red. Looks original and brand new right?

Still I was sooo scared.

I brought in my white Balenciaga and Hermes HerBag...

ROYAL RESTORE REVIEW
I was terrified during the consultation process. You can't blame me, right? I used my hard-earned money to buy those bags and to hand them ver to a stranger and have them do strange things to it beyond my control is a bit nerve wracking.

If you can tell, I'm still a bit nervous about the whole thing.

In fact, I almost didn't go through with it.

ROYAL RESTORE REVIEW 1

Not really worried about the Hermes since I only had it cleaned and conditioned. It's the Balenciaga that I am (sorta haha) losing sleep over (oa, jk). But I really am a bit worried because unlike the Hermes, this one is a bit more banged up and needs more than just cleaning.

It's a bit scuffed at the edges and the most irritating thing ever is blue stains from my dark jeans.

Yes, they could've just removed those stains but they brought up a great idea...

Why not dye it black and solve the problem once and for all......

I've always wanted it in black with a long strap but when I bought mine they didn't have that available....

So guess what? I said okay to dye-ing it a different color AND not just that but they're making me an extra, longer strap as well.

Yes, I'm super super worried but I'm also really excited.

DESIGNER BAG RESTORATION SERVICE

Don't know if I'm crazy for agreeing to such crazy suggestions BUT after having a conversation with their COO and seeing other goods they've worked on, it kinda put me at ease because they really seem to know what they're talking about.

We'll see in 3 weeks - that's when I get both my bags back. Promise to share after photos with you guys! Holding my breathe 'til then. Hahaha

Find Royal Restore at these branches: 2nd floor Virra Mall, 3rd floor City Center SM North and soon at Eastwood Mall and Uptown, BGC

You can also contact them via cell: 092588-ROYAL

Would the restoration be as expensive as buying a new bag? Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess this is more for the designer bags.
