what to wear with vertical stripes
Hello on this much welcome rainy morning! Finally, I MISS wearing outerwear so much!
Anyway, a few days ago, I was asked by our baby Arnie how she could style a new vertical stripe skirt she recently purchased from SM Ladies and I thought maybe you guys have the same concerns since stripes is huge this season, so here's my two cents of not-so-expert advice again on what to wear with vertical stripe skirts, pants, and tops!
So first, let's determine what color combination makes up your vertical stripe item of clothing. I am assuming it's black and white but just in case it isn't....here are some points to remember....try to choose a coordinating article of clothing that features the same color of your striped whatever. You can go with prints or colorblock with the same color or wear with a complimenting color (i.e. navy and white stripes with yellow or pink, etc).
Okay? :) Let's move on to black and white shall we? If you own stripes in black and white, you're pretty much home free! Pair with almost anything you own in your closet except maybe boho-inspired cuts and pieces. The key is to look sharp and polished. Black and white looks great with florals, silver, neons, primary colors and obviously, black or white :P Match with button-downs, jumpers/pullovers or cool crew neck tees for an effortless chic vibe.

Received this floral shirt a few days ago from Wardrobe Check and the pretty white bucket bag from Twirlshoppe (ps. the bag's only P600!!! :)) so I decided to marry them together in one look that you can wear for lunch out with the girls or to the office (just maybe wear a skirt that's a tad longer). Hope you like! :)
