70s Disco + CMG Platforms + JC Buendia

This is what I wore a couple of weeks ago to the Jerome Lorico x  CMG event at Opus and the Lee Cooper fashion show at The Mariott.

Earlier, was the Wrangler show in Robinson's Ermita and I had to change outfits in between that and the two events I mentioned earlier. The only mainstay were these nude, strappy platforms by Matthews from CMG. Despite their height, they are one of the most comfortable shoes I own and it always takes centerstage during whole day affairs.

Going back to the outfit, I don't really own "clubbing clothes" cause clubs aren't really my scene. Never have been. I prefer to relax and get my drink on at indie bars with bands playing like Blackbird, B-Side and Saguijo. So Opus posted a problem and I had to make do with whatever items I had laying around in my closet. I didn't want to spend on an outfit just for one night.

So after a quick lookthrough of my closet's contents, I settled on an all black outfit comprised of hotpants, a chiffon button down shirt and a gold jacket for some added pizzaz. I think it turned out pretty well considering the circumstances.

And before I go, special thanks to Paul for always being a gentleman and for always taking my outfit photos when we're together.

Oh and by the way, it's Chyrel's birthday today! Happy birthday girl! Please visit her blog and show her some love.

outfit: URU jacket, JC Buendia x Kashieca hot pants, CMG platforms, Mphosis clutch
